| 内容記述 | 昭和33年小・中学校学習指導要領において、 毛筆で文字を書くことの学習は、 それまでの 「毛筆習字」 から 「書写」 に呼称が変更された。 本研究では、 その歴史的経緯を明らかにするために昭和31・32年度の教育課程審議会での審議過程を検討した。 毛筆習字について審議では、 書道教育者からの独立必修化の要望と、 国語教育者からの国語科から切り離したい要望とのあいだで文部省による折衝がおこなわれた。 審議過程で小・中学校の教育課程における毛筆習字は、 芸術的な能力ではなく 「文字の書写能力」 として国語科に位置づけられるということが確認されていく。 これが 「書写」 という呼称が登場する理由となったのである。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Brush-using calligraphy was named "shosha" under the 1958 course of study for elementary and junior high schools. In this study, the process of deliberation at the Curriculum Council during the academic years of 1956-57 was reviewed in order to determine its historical significance. After considering the deliberation on brush-using calligraphy among calligraphy educators and Japanese philology educators, the Ministry of Education categorized brush-using calligraphy not as an artistic ability but as "ability to copy words", or "shosha". | |||||||||
