平成19年度までに障害児学級を廃止して、軽度発達障害児を通常学級に在籍させるという方針が打ち出されたが、そのような子ども達を通常学級の中でどのように教育すればよいのかを明らかにしようとする実践的な研究を進めている。本稿では、日本の障害児教育の現状を整理し、「特別支援教育」のポイントをふまえた上で、「特別支援教育」が抱える問題点を提起するとともに、「特別支援教育」を実施するにあたっての留意点をまとめた。 |

A policy that classes for children with disability will be abolished and children with mild developmental disorders will be placed in mainstream classes by the Heisei 19 fiscal year, was set out. We are making practical researches to clarify how such children should be educated in mainstream classes. In this article, we organized the present condition of education for physically and mentally handicapped children in Japan and we raised an issue which "special support education" has, after considering the main point of "special support education". We also summarized the important matters when providing the "special support education." |
