学校給食に米飯給食が導入されたことに伴い、日本の伝統的な年間行事食が取り入れやすくなったことと思われるので、近隣8市について小学校給食の年間献立表から実状を調査した。その結果、調査した全市で取り入れられていたのは節分と雛祭りに係わるものだけであり、全般に取り入れ状況は多くなかった。教育現場で学校給食を通し伝統的行事に因んだ食材や料理をできるかぎり導入して、子どもたちに教えて欲しいと考える。 |

Because the rice-based diet was introduced into school lunches, it seems that the special food for Japanese traditional annual events and celebrations has become easy to be adopted into the menus of school lunches. So we researched the actual situation of this on the basis of the year's menu tables of the lunches at elementary schools in 8 neighboring cities. The result showed that the special food for annual events all eight cities adopted into the menus had relation to only two celebrations, Setsubun (the Day before the beginning of spring) and Hinamatsuri (the Girl's Day), and that annual events and celebrations were not much taken into consideration in making plans for the menus of school lunches as a whole. It is hoped that the special food relating to the traditional events and celebrations will be introduced into school lunches as much as possible and will be known to children in school education. |
