This study analyzed the process of understanding and routinizing morning assemblies from a nursery school teacher's speech. The content to be shared and sequence of turns in the morning assembly were established. The assembly at first was delayed as the teacher had to gather the children and could not begin the assembly until all the children are present in the classroom, after which the teacher could begin the program. However, although a few children were not present in the classroom, at times, the teacher began the program anyway.
