In particular, the role of facilitators in baby programs(BP)―a child-rearing support program devised in Japan―was examined. The study found that, rather than thinking of the program only in terms of the here and now, when interacting with participants, it is important for facilitators to believe in the program participants’ capabilities and quietly provide support.
